Meaningful Moment
The reason for our 4-hour delay this morning.
There's a windmill in there
Muxia lighthouse
Random Thought of the Day
Delayed 3 hours due to rain. Gradual ascent and steep descent. Lots of rainforest during first half of hike. Ended with beautiful beach scenery along the ocean.
On the Road / Notable memories
Got up at 8:00 a.m. for breakfast.
Sitting in the Casa Rural because we woke up to a pretty serious rain.
Weather forecast says the rains should break in the next couple of hours, and check out is at noon, so I certainly can sit here for a while.
It's now 10:40 a.m., and been watching rain all morning . Weather radar indicates clearing around 11:30 a.m.
It's boring waiting in the lodging during the morning for the rain to stop.
Reflection on mood: When I start the day in good weather, and it turns bad, I just press on because I'm already committed to the days hike.
But it's a different feeling when I'm sitting over breakfast watching the occasional heavy downpour but, still heavy rain, and thinking do I even want to start the day.
