Meaningful Moment

Sunset Cruise around Finisterra and to the Atlantic Ocean to see the lighthouse. 

Skies were cloudy so we didn't see much of a sunset, and in addition, it started to lightly rain.

However, it was nice to be relaxing on the water and to see some of the places we had hiked.

Being next to the lighthouse is impressive, but seeing it from the ocean is spectacular.

Random Thought of the Day

Tried lunch at Os Tres Golpes, but it turned out to be a very neighborhood place and kind of expensive .

So we took a pass and found a more cafeteria style placed that seemed to be comfortable catering with peregrinos.

Then for a pre-cruise meal, we stopped in at one of the places on the waterfront, but it was geared for the tourists. Found the food good, but not great. It was something you would expect for a tourist district.

Tomorrow we begin our second to last day of hiking. We have somewhere between 10 to 11 mi.

The day after we have about 8 - 9 miles. We will arrive in Muxia, which is a picturesque, much less touristy, town on Galicia's Costa do Morte - Coast of death.

It is so named because of the rocks and shoals which have been responsible for many a sailors' death in a shipwreck.

On the Road / Notable memories

For a stretch before entering Finisterra, we were routed through a forest. These little side trips are always beautiful. Sometimes the road can't be quicker to the destination, but it takes a bit of a toll on being relaxed.

The final stretch was along the beach.

	It was nice that the Camino was actually off-road for a significant portion. Made it much more beautiful.

	This is the marker for kilometer zero. There is no more farther to walk, because we are at the end of the world.
